The E’Twaun Moore Foundation, which is a 501 (c) (3), was established in 2014. The mission of the foundation is to empower youth, and serve families through the means of educational programs, athletic exposure, and social services. Our motto is: “The greatest success we’ll know is helping others succeed and grow.”

Here are a few highlights:

• Basketball Camp Have had over a 1,000 young boys & girls attend the annual E’Twaun Moore basketball camp where they learn basketball & life skills, and mingle with other current NBA players. Check back for upcoming dates.

• Thanksgiving Turkey Give-a-way Have provided more than 600 families with a turkey for Thanksgiving over the past three years.

• Christmas Event Have provided more than 800 kids with toys and clothes during the Christmas season over the past three years.

• 4th of July Celebration Hosted a cookout and firework show for the community in East Chicago, IN.

• Back to School Event A sponsor for the city of East Chicago back to school event.

• Athletic Sponsorship Have provided funding for boys & girls athletic programs.

Our goal is to continue to expand our services and provide support in the areas of:

• Youth Mentoring/Programing with a focus on latchkey kids & kids with parent(s) who are incarcerated.

• Monetary scholarships for college

• Anti-bullying initiatives

• Mental health awareness
